Terapeutický problém: rychlé cyklování epizod u bipolární afektivní poruchy

Bipolární afektivní porucha je epizodické onemocnění s velmi variabilním průběhem. V naší kazuistice popisujeme průběh onemocnění bipolární afektivní poruchou u pacientky ve věku 33 let od počátku onemocnění přes rozvoj typické symptomaticky až k rychlému cyklování epizod. Zmiňujeme také možný iatrogenní podíl antidepresivní léčby na symptomatice nemoci a na jejím vývoji a proměnách. Závěrem je při současné uspokojivé stabilizaci stavu uvedena aktuální kombinovaná terapie lithiem a karbamazepinem s atypickými antipsychotiky (olanzapinem, tiapridem).
